In an occupied building, the residents and staff decide how well the job went.

We have worked with Southern Housing (formerly Optivo) for 18 years on internal and external decorating, planned maintenance, voids and communal areas. Over that time we have learned how to work around people's homes: notice in advance, named operatives, tidy work areas, clear signage and finishing each day on time.

Our teams are DBS-checked for sensitive settings. They are briefed on vulnerable residents and sheltered housing, and they report anything of concern to the housing officer at once.

Questions

Common questions.

If something isn't covered here, call the director directly on 07496 314491.

How do you keep residents informed?

Residents get advance notice, the programme dates and a named contact. Our operatives are identifiable, and each work area is signed and kept safe.

Can you turn voids around quickly?

Yes. Voids are planned to the client's letting standard and target turnaround, with progress reported to the voids team.

Do you work in sheltered housing?

Yes. Teams are briefed on the setting, use low-odour products and keep escape routes and access clear at all times.
